Programme of the seminar

The seminar takes place in two groups:

• Morning: Group 1 trains, Group 2 helps.
• Midday: Break together.
• Afternoon: Role reversal - Group 2 trains, Group 1 helps.

Training content & requirements

This seminar offers participants a practical insight into the course of a mock trial or small game hunt. The terrain presents handlers and dogs with a variety of challenges that are specially tailored to the Novice level.

What you can expect:

• Realistic conditions: We simulate complex hunting situations in which the distances are greater and the tasks more demanding than in pure taster training.
• Focus on cooperation: The focus is on calm work and precise coordination between humans and dogs within the line or during a drive.
• Learning effect without pressure: The assessment is carried out expertly, but without elimination, so that you can gain valuable experience under professional guidance.

Requirements for the dog:

• Steadiness: Your dog is able to wait calmly and attentively at your side during the event until it is his turn.
• Safe retrieve: A reliable retrieve into the hand is a prerequisite.
